Valley View Orchard Peaches in Southern Oregon

Valley View Orchard Today

Valley View Orchard is a long-standing pillar of the Rogue Valley’s fruit-growing community. Owned by Kathy and Tim O’Leary since 2000 and located in Ashland, Oregon, the 50-acre orchard produces sweet cherries, tart cherries, apricots, peaches, apples and pears. Growing over 30 varieties of fruit, the orchard has been certified organic since 2002. The stunning property, which sits high on the hill overlooking the city of Ashland and the surrounding mountains, is home to many local species of wildlife including raptors, bats, coyotes and turkeys.

Our Passion For
Restorative Practices

In 2017, the owners began a conservation project with the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to restore almost two acres of the property to a native habitat that supports beneficial insects and other local wildlife.

The habitat was planted with over 100 different species of native plants and was designed to provide year round resources for many species, including bird, bat and native bees.

Our History

The orchard was originally planted before 1900 by the Wagner family and was originally known as Wagner Orchards. Robert Wagner, grandson of local pioneer Jacob Wagner, was the last Wagner family owner, and sold the property in 1966. Subsequent owners expanded both the crops and the property to include many of the outer buildings seen today, including the small store. The O’Leary’s have been the owners since 2000.
